Staff Data Scientist

The company Mobi, based in Somerville, MA, is seeking a Staff Data Scientist to join their Data Science team. Mobi specializes in building technologies that enhance human navigation abilities by utilizing AI for decision-making processes. They are looking for an experienced data scientist with a passion for machine learning, NLP, and computer vision. The role involves prototyping and building ML microservice platforms to automate and optimize customer processes, as well as increase user engagement. The ideal candidate should have at least 6 years of industry experience in machine learning, proficiency in NLP and/or Computer Vision, and hands-on experience with Pytorch or Tensorflow. Strong coding skills, team management experience, and a background in operations research are preferred qualifications. The position is a hybrid role with office presence required 3 days a week, and remote work is an option for qualified candidates.
