Job Description: Observe Inc. is seeking a skilled Data Scientist to join their Product team. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to utilize data for solving product and business challenges, influencing strategy, and driving product development. Key responsibilities include analyzing unit economics, generating insights for strategic decision-making, and ensuring data reliability. The candidate will contribute to a cohesive product analytics strategy, focusing on customer behavior analysis and data-driven decision-making. Effective communication and data storytelling are essential skills required for this role.

Responsibilities: - Analyze unit economics, pricing, and gross margin - Provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making - Ensure data reliability and completeness - Develop and maintain data pipelines - Collaborate with Product and Sales teams for customer feature adoption analysis - Communicate findings through data visualizations and presentations

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field (advanced degree preferred) - Proficiency in SQL and analyzing complex data sets - Strong interest in product analytics and consumption-based pricing - Excellent communication skills - Location in the Bay Area and willingness to work in-office 3 days a week
