Computational Geoscientist

Title: Computational Geoscientist Location: Salt Lake City, Utah Employment Type: Full-time, Hybrid Company: Zanskar Manager: Ahinoam Pollack, Head of Research Mission: Zanskar is innovating in geothermal energy exploration to make it a significant contributor to a carbon-free electrical grid. Responsibilities: The role involves developing patentable workflows and tools using geological, physical, and machine learning models to identify and de-risk geothermal resources. Requirements: Strong programming skills, experience in geoscientific data assimilation, reservoir optimization, uncertainty quantification, or machine learning for geosciences. Earth sciences background preferred. Qualifications: Master’s with 3+ years or PhD with 1+ year in quantitative earth sciences.
