Company Background: Zanskar focuses on developing new geothermal resources using advanced technology to make geothermal energy more economical and accessible, aiming to contribute to a carbon-free electrical grid. The research team is dedicated to innovating tools that enhance precision in pinpointing and characterizing geothermal resources through the integration of geological, physical, and machine learning modeling.

Key Responsibilities: - Develop patentable workflows and tools to discover and de-risk numerous geothermal resources for potential commercial power plants by 2030. - Utilize expertise in geoscientific data assimilation, reservoir optimization, uncertainty quantification, and machine learning for geosciences. - Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to communicate results, challenges, and recommendations.

Requirements: - Proficiency in computer programming with several years of experience. - Experience in geoscientific data assimilation, reservoir optimization, uncertainty quantification, or machine learning for geosciences. - Strong background in earth sciences, particularly in geothermal systems or faulted subsurface areas. - Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams. - Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience or PhD with 1+ year of experience in quantitative earth sciences.
